Can Christians Eat Shrimp?

Here are some verses from the Old and New Testament regarding foods that they could and could not eat.  Then Jesus died on the Cross to free us.

Thoughts

As it says in Matthew 15:11, “It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of his mouth.”  The restrictions in the Old Testament were not for today and when Jesus died on the Cross, He fulfilled the Old Testament law.  We can eat whatever we want, the only case to not eat something as it says in Romans is if it would offend someone.  Then we should refrain from eating whatever that is.
